Re-evaluating Your Topic and Research Strategy

During the process of researching your topic and writing your paper, periodically step back and re-evaluate both your position on the topic and your research strategy. Allow yourself enough time to incorporate any changes or follow any leads.

• Have you uncovered any worthwhile information that might take your paper in a different direction or that has caused you to see your topic from a new perspective?
• Do you need to redirect your research in any way as a result of the new material you've uncovered?
