Locating Materials

Once you've completed the first few steps of the research process, you should have a fairly good idea of the topic you're going to research more thoroughly. At this point, it's a good idea to re-read your instructor's directions to see if you've been given any limitations or specific requirements for the types of research materials you're expected to incorporate into your final paper. Familiarize yourself with the range of available research materials by searching traditional print sources, such as books and periodicals, and electronic sources, such as the World Wide Web and OhioLINK full-text databases. Also consider other types of research methods, including interviews surveys and observations.

Re-evaluate your topic & research strategy.
